This evidence-based presentation by Dr Jill Cargnello discusses the updates in acne management and treatment. Dr Cargnello outlines the types of acne and provides insight into the various pharmacological options available for the treatment of acne, their effective usages and potential side effects for patients/clients.
Klinefelter’s syndrome (KS) is the most common cause of primary testicular failure and the incidence varies between one in every 450 to 650 men. It is estimated that over half of all cases are never diagnosed, possibly due to the broad spectrum of symptoms and phenotype. Epidemiologic data suggest men with KS have not only increased morbidity but also reduced life expectancy of one to two years. Chromosomal analysis is required for diagnosis, and this lecture covers the management of KS, which requires multidisciplinary care.
