About this Presentation
In this presentation I will examine what we know about the safety and real-world effectiveness of vaping in helping smokers quit, and its uptake by youth. Is it a revolutionary game changer for tobacco control, or simply the latest chapter in the history of failed promises of tobacco harm reduction? Every major tobacco company has now invested heavily in nicotine vaping products, some saying they hope to end smoking via vaping. Yet all of these companies continue to relentlessly oppose effective tobacco control policies known to reduce smoking.
