About this Presentation

Milk choice (plant-based and dairy, with many types of each) is growing, and represents a key consumer trend with implications for health. As such, it is important to understand the science behind what is in each type, how they impact human health, how they are produced (environmental and processing considerations) and what individual needs (allergies, intolerances, ethics, religion, costs, culinary uses, accessibility, dietary papers, etc.) impact the appropriateness of each option.

In this presentation, Dr Beckett will use case studies to inform and empower the practical application of the science to improve health outcomes and reduce patient and practitioner anxiety around making recommendations.
